My Why

Hello Everyone!

My name is Elizabeth Link and I currently reside in the Denver area with my two beautiful daughters as well as my husband. I am a certified NTP (Nutritional Therapy Practitioner), homeschool momma as well as an organic beauty artist.

My interest in wholistic wellness started about 16 years ago. From ages 18-22 I worked as a fashion model (Ford Models Chicago) and while I loved aspects of it I was plagued with very dysfunctional eating and severe body dysmorphia. Luckily at the end of that time period I met my loving husband who told me "That industry is full of destructive lies that hurts many including you. I want you to be healthy and starvation is not healthy!" I finally gave myself permission to start focusing on how I could nourish and respect my body vs just beating it into submission based on arbitrary industry standards. At that point I started a journey of nutritional study. Unfortunately, I first chose the path of intense raw veganism. Perfectionism dies hard in me! After a while I realized the restriction was doing more harm than good for my wellbeing. At that point a dear friend introduced me to the Weston A. Price Foundation. I started to learn how traditional long-lived cultures ate with an attitude towards abundance vs. constant deprivation. I learned to apply traditional principles to my eating, and I really started to heal! Over the years I have been focused on furthering that knowledge and using it to better the health and wellbeing of myself as well as of those around me. Whether you are deep into the ancestral functional health movement or you are feeling lost in your own health issues and where to even begin I am glad you are hear! My goal is to create a community of wholistic education in the areas of nutrition, movement, natural beauty and home products as well as natural medicinal remedies. Feel free to search the site for information on all these topics or, if you would like to dive in deeper, please reach out to me to chat about 1:1 nutritional and lifestyle counseling. Wherever you are at in your health journey, there is always a path forward, I am happy to help you find it!
